The Avec Amour team consists of Karen Bryant and Diane Bedford.
We started our business Avec Amour to fulfill a passion we both have to helping you arrange a beautiful wedding full of everlasting memories of the most amazing day of your lives.
We both have a creative flair and a love of the ever-romantic French culture hence the name Avec Amour which is French for “with love”.

More about Karen Bryant
I am married to Paul and we have three adult children.
My background is in finance having worked in the banking industry for close to twenty years.
We relocated to Auckland in early 2008, after living in Tauranga for 23 years, and I decided it was time to focus on doing something I truly enjoy.
I pride myself on my excellent attention to detail and time management skills and I love working with people.
Wedding Planning is my new career choice and I look forward to working with you, to design your dream wedding and create beautiful memories of your truly special day.
More about Diane Bedford
I grew up in the Wellington region then moved for Auckland for four years, but I have lived in Tauranga for the past 24 years.
I am married to Mark and between us we have 6 grown children who are now all in their twenties.
Mark is a Pharmacist and we part own a large medical centre pharmacy in Mt Maunganui where I've worked part time for the past 12 years.
In 1998 we won the prestigious Regional Business of the Year Award & we were the first pharmacy in the world to receive an ISO Quality accreditation.
Over the last 2 years I have also worked for an Auckland company doing Home staging in the Tauranga region.
My love of sharing my home with friends & family has extended to organizing many successful events over the years and this coupled with a creative flair has led me to my new career: Wedding Planning.
This is more of a love than a career as it would be an honour and a pleasure, along with Karen, to create a day for you that will be full of truly beautiful memories you will treasure for the rest of your life.
