 When planning for our wedding in December 2009 I was happy to do the majority of the planning with the help of friends and family. However, we needed someone to oversee the set-up of our ceremony and reception venues, and faced the problem of who to foist this responsibility on to! Close friends and family were all guests at the wedding, and it seemed a lot to ask of more casual acquaintances. So we employed Diane to help out, and the service she provided was outstanding value.
We met with her several times prior to the wedding, and she was always friendly and full of good ideas and suggestions.
Our Wedding day was fantastic, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. Diane took care of all the last minute details so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. The weather meant a last minute change from a garden venue to the back-up plan. My groom and I didn't have to worry about a thing - Diane erected the marquee to provide additional shelter, decorations were moved and modified and the end result was a stunning venue! She also served drinks and nibbles, organised a hamper for the bridal party, liaised with the hire companies, and tidied up the chaos afterwards! At the hotel reception venue it was great to have someone to double check everything was set up as it should be.
We thoroughly recommend the wonderful service provided by Avec Amour wedding planners.

Diane has exquisite taste in decor and style, always making her function run with effortless grace and seemingly, no energy.

Food is always divine and beautifully presented.
Diane often has two or three "do's" she is arranging in quick succession, especially around Christmas, but this does not seem to pressure her.
